Don’t Drink … Play!
Tuesday, 4. March 2025
If you enjoy having a a beer every now and then, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks at home. Only take only the cash you intend to spend on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you expect to squander and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Realistic more like. You might experience a profit after a boozy evening out with your comrades and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and bet. The two just don’t mix.
Keeping your moola out of the casino is a tiny bit drastic, but precautionary actions for drastic behavior is essential. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink and bet. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your assets nary a worry, then consume all the gratis alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t take credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your bombed head loses everything!
Allow me to carry this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then head on to the internet to play in your favorite internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, however since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.
What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I don’t drink alcohol a lot, when I drink alcohol, it is definitely adequate to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both create a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
